Preschool: During A Pandemic

It has been 22 months since the Calabasas Klubhouse since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The Calabasas Klubhouse closed for 3 months at the start of the pandemic in 2020 and we have been working our way back to figure out what our new normal is ever since.

Our staff, school families, and children have adapted to our new model of Preschool quite well. The children adapted so well to the changes! From the children being greeted by masked school staff, to getting their temperatures taken and all of the modifications that we’ve had to put in place, they’ve adapted and have learned their new routines!

Modifications in classrooms and with curriculum have been challenging. Thankfully, the children have adapted so well and everything we do is to ensure their well-being and safety while still getting to experience an Early Childhood Education program that fosters their growth and development.

We’re slowly bringing back events, which are now planned very last minute and are dependent on the COVID numbers and situation on that given date. Children have shown us that they adapt well to new situations and have done great adapting to our new version of preschool!
