Bridget Nelson is one of the Calabasas Klubhouse Executive Directors and has been working with children for 23 years. She holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Mt. St. Mary's University, Los Angeles and a MA in Educational Psychology with a Specialization in Early Childhood Education from California State University, Northridge. In addition Bridget has 40 or more units in Child Development and belongs to several professional organizations that relate to the child care field.

Providing developmentally appropriate early childhood and camp programs has been a goal of Bridget's since entering the field. Several years ago Bridget became certified in the Handwriting without Tears program which uses multisensory, developmentally appropriate strategies to increase success with early writing skills. This program is what is used within our Ladybugs Pre-K Classroom.

Bridget holds a Child Development Program Director Permit (highest level) issued by the California Department of Education Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). Bridget takes a developmental approach in working with children and loves creating new programs for participants to have meaningful experiences.

When she's not working, Bridget enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 teenagers.

Carly Armacost is one of the Calabasas Klubhouse Executive Directors. She has been working with children for over 20 years. Carly holds a BA in Communications from California State University, Northridge, and has countless additional educational units in Early Childhood Education. 

Carly feels that dedicating her career to working with children and their families is something that she is very proud of. Playing a role in how children develop from being toddlers to when they graduate is such a meaningful job. Carly prides herself on being able to provide ever evolving quality programs that support the community in which these programs operate. Having a good relationship with the community in which our programs operate, with our school families, and with our staff makes a huge impact on the programs that we're able to offer and is something that we work hard at.

When she's not working, Carly enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children.

My name is Ms. Patricia and I’ve worked with kids for 20 years! This is my 5th year working at the Calabasas Klubhouse Preschool. Before moving into the Assistant Director role, I was a toddler preschool teacher in the Bumblebee Classroom.

My favorite part about teaching preschool is the sweet, excited smiles I’m greeted with every day. I love all the fun, creative, unexpected learning experiences I am able to incorporate in class while supporting the developmental skills of our little ones and instilling a passion for learning at such a young age.

3. I’ve worked for Little Learners for 20 years! Over my 20 years I've run a variety of programs including as mommy and me, enrichment classes, toddler programs, summer camp counselor, and assistant director of our kindergarten after-school program

My priority is supporting the staff and teaching children through play and hands-on experiences. I truly enjoy what I do and can't wait to meet your little one.

Ms. Molly is a Bumblebee Classroom Toddler Teacher. She has her Bachelors degree from California State University, Northridge in Child and Adolescent Development.

Ms. Mayeli is a Bumblebee class teacher. She is currently finishing up her BA in Child and Adolescent Development at California State University, Northridge. She loves doing circle time, messy sensory, and art with the toddlers.

Ms. Yisel is a part time Bumblebee Toddler Teacher.

Ms. Raquel is a Dragonfly class teacher.

Ms. Jennifer is a Dragonfly class teacher.

Ms. Jacqueline is a Dragonfly Toddler teacher.

Ms. Maria is a Grasshopper Classroom Preschool Teacher.

Ms. Jessica is a Grasshopper Classroom Preschool teacher. She graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BA in Child and Adolescent Development. Ms. Jessica enjoys engaging with the children and supporting them in learning new things at preschool.

Ms. Jasmine is a Grasshopper Classroom Preschool Teacher.

Ms. Kandi is a Grasshopper Classroom Preschool Teacher.

Hi. My name is Ms. Vanessa and I can’t wait for a fun school year with your child in the Butterfly classroom. My favorite thing about working with preschool-aged children is that they are always ready to learn and I love to see how proud they are of themselves when they learn something new. I love seeing all their different personalities and seeing the way they think. 

I have been a preschool teacher for 15 years and I am very excited to teach here at the Klubhouse.

When I am not teaching I am spending time with my husband and my Boston Terrier Ollie. I also volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society. I enjoy finding new places to eat and I love watching spooky movies.

Ms. Dayalira is a Butterfly Classroom Preschool Teacher.

Ms. CoryAnne is a Butterfly Classroom Preschool Teacher. She is currently finishing her Bachelors Degree in Child and Adolescent Development at California State University, Northridge.

Ms. Diana is a Butterfly Preschool Teacher. She graduated from CSUN with a BA in Deaf Studies and she has a number of units completed in Early Childhood. Ms. Diana incorporates sign language into the Pre-K curriculum. When she is not working, Ms. Diana enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Hi. I’m Ms. Stephanie and I look forward to having your child in the Butterfly class here at the Klubhouse.

I have my BA Degree from California State University, Northridge in Child and Adolescent Development.

I really enjoy teaching children and making a difference in their futures. I love creating fun activities and watching children blossom.

My favorite thing to do outside of work is being a mommy to my two children. I also enjoy taking my children to the beach and discovering new hiking trails around the LA area.

Hello! My name is Ms. Denisse and I am one of the Ladybug Pre-K Teachers. I'm trained in the Handwriting without Tears program that we use to help the children develop their letters and writing skills. I have been working with children for 9 years and have been teaching for 5 years. Prior to teaching preschool, I worked with Bridget and Carly at their after-school and seasonal camp program.

I hold my Bachelor's Degree from CSUN in Family and Consumer Sciences and a minor in Recreation Management.

My favorite part of teaching preschool is every day is different and the children say the funniest things that it makes my day even better. I love to see how they grow and learn each and every day. Fun fact: I have 3 Fur-Babies, that I love unconditionally.

Ms. Arielle is a Ladybug Pre-K Classroom Teacher.

Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Viv and I am happy to be a Ladybug Pre-K Teacher.

I have my BA Degree and am currently finishing up my Masters Degree in Music Therapy.

Hi. I’m Ms. Charlotte and I have been teaching for thirty-six years. I've been a teacher at the Klubhouse for 14 years and I love my job. My favorite part of teaching at the Klubhouse is the love and smiles the children share with me every day! A couple of fun facts about me are that I was born in Germany and that I also speak German. Also, I have been married for over forty-five years. I love to spend time with my three adult children, their families, and my 3 grandchildren.

Ms. Elsie is a part time afternoon teacher in the Ladybugs Pre-K Classroom.

Ms. Jena is a Ladybug Pre-K Classroom Teacher.

Hi. My name is Ms. Miya and I'm happy to be a teacher at the Klubhouse. I've worked for Little Learners from when I graduated high school until now at both their Camp Calabasas programs and at the Klubhouse. I graduated with my BA in Early Childhood from SDU in May 2021.

The thing I love the most about teaching preschool is seeing the children's personalities develop and also I love doing fun hands-on activities. I am currently enrolled in a program to obtain my Masters Degree in Education and Teaching Credential.

A fun fact about me is that I've known Bridget and Carly since I was 5 years old. They were my counselors at Camp Calabasas from when I was in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Ms. Riley is a part time floater teacher who supports each of the 5 classrooms!

Ms. Riley holds her BA from Chapman University and recently obtained her Masters Degree in Education and California Teaching Credential.

Ms. Linda is a part time floater teacher. She graduated from California State University, Northridge with her BA in Child and Adolescent Development. Ms. Linda has been working with toddlers and preschoolers for a few years and loves seeing the transition over the school year. When she's not at the Klubhouse, Ms. Linda works with children in early intervention services. Her favorite part of the day is seeing the children learn things and grow in making friends.

Ms. Christina is one of our floater teachers who is currently working on her Masters Degree in Educational Psychology and Early Childhood at California State University, Northridge. She also works at Camp Calabasas with the TK and Kindergarten aged children.
