- Does my child need to be potty trained?
- We understand that potty learning is a process. We welcome the opportunity to partner with you as your child goes through the process. For children in our 2 toddler and 2 preschool classrooms, we have diaper changing stations and toilets. Children need to be potty trained before entering our Ladybug Pre-K Classroom.
- What is the child to teacher ratio?

- The state ratio for toddlers is 1:6 and for preschool it is 1:12. Our ratio for toddlers is 1:4 and for preschool our ratio is 1:7
- What education, credentials, and training do your teachers have?
- All of our teachers have the minimum 12 units in Early Childhood Education. Most of our teachers have their bachelors degrees and some are working towards their masters degrees. All of our teachers are Mandated Reporters and undergo training every 2 years. Additionally, our teachers are CPR/First Aid Trained and do annual Pest Management Training.
- What is play-based learning?
- Learning through play is a term used in education and psychology to describe how a child can learn to make sense of the world around them. Through play, children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments.
- If my child has a developmental delay can you help them?

- We are happy to help families get in touch with their local Regional Center and school district to get guidance on having assessments completed.
- Will we ever get into the preschool? I've heard the waitlist is so long, is this true?
- Over the past few years we have had a significant waitlist. Our waitlist starts over each year and those on the list do not get enrollment priority. Each January we have between 20-40 spaces available for enrollment.
- Do you have tours of your preschool?
- We offer tours from August through December. In February we offer tours for those who enroll and have not seen the school.
